The US 191/MT 64 intersection project has been awarded to HDR and is now moving into the design phase. The design team is evaluating options that maintain access to local businesses while minimizing impacts to the Gallatin River.
Access during construction will be a key consideration as the project team develops its construction plan. Right-of-Entry letters have been sent to affected property owners, and survey and geotechnical work is planned for fall 2026, weather permitting. Stakeholders will receive updates throughout the design and construction phases.
Funding update: The project was not awarded a FY 2026 BUILD grant. The project team will continue to explore other funding opportunities.
