The TEDD/TIF effort is alive and well in Big Sky! A coalition of BSOA, the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce, and the Big Sky Resort Area District is working together to establish a Targeted Economic Development District.
The proposed district would last approximately 15 years and allow eligible property tax revenue generated by growth in taxable property values within the district to be reinvested in Big Sky. These funds could help pay for needed fire, water, and transportation infrastructure to support our community over the next 50 years.
